Terms & Conditions for Decorations - Online orders

It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions of sale and delivery. At the end of the on-line order process you will be asked to click 'confirm order' by doing so, as stated, you accept and agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions. Product safety
All items conform to HSE and BSI standards.

It is illegal in the U.K to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy alcohol. No persons under 18 years of age may place an order with Sure To Surprise You, if the goods contain alcohol.

To make the most of your sweets we recommend that they are consumed within 12 weeks of receipt. All products are individually dated to ensure the products are consumed when they are at the best.
Whilst every care has been taken during manufacturing Sweets/Chocolates may contain nuts. Please see individual packaging for additional information

Delivery is ONLY £1.45 to all UK mainland addresses for all orders for standard delivery of 3-5 days. We aim to post all orders within two working days of receipt of payment.

Next Working Day Delivery (by 1pm) £8.99 for up to (1500g) to UK Mainland addresses, orders must be placed by 12pm

All delivery prices for Non-UK Mainland addresses, Highlands of Scotland and International on request.

We will do our utmost to make sure that all orders are fulfilled and delivered within the timeframe specified but should events outside our control prevent this we will contact you by email and arrange alternatives. If we are unable to fulfil your order, for any reason, we shall refund your payment.
As delivery is made by a 3rd party we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal system. We regret that while we will do our utmost to make sure that all deliveries are fulfilled within the timeframe specified, should events outside our control prevent this happening we are not liable for any failed deliveries. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We take all payments through PayPal...
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e-mail (or by other means if no e-mail address has been provided) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to adjust your order with acceptable substitutes or cancel your order.

Any orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the goods or services from us and we have the right to reject such offers at any time. You acknowledge that any automated acknowledgment of your order which you may receive from us shall not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the Website. The conclusion of a contract between you and us will take place when we (i) debit your credit or debit card or (ii) dispatch the goods to you or commence the services, whichever is the later.

We always try to ensure that the prices shown on our website are accurate, but occasionally genuine errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods that you have ordered we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the goods, then you will receive a full refund.
In the unlikely event that the price shown on the checkout page is wrong, and we discover this before accepting your order, we are not required to sell the goods to you at the price shown.

If, for any reason, you wish to do so you have the right to cancel any order you have placed (other than in respect of goods made to your specification, clearly personalised ). Where the goods have been delivered to you, you may cancel them up to 7 working days, starting from the day after the goods were received, in line with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and the service we provide. If the goods you have chosen do not meet your approval, please return them to us within 7days, unused and in their original packaging, and we will happily refund the value of the goods.
Please note we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty.
We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing we shall deliver the product to you at the premises specified in the order form attached. We shall accept no liability if the premises address is incorrect and it is your responsibility to ensure that all premises details are correct.

Damaged goods
In the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit, we will replace the damaged contents or gift immediately free of charge providing the following: The goods are signed for upon receipt as either 'damaged' or 'unexamined'.  The carrier and ourselves are informed at once and it is confirmed by the recipient to us in writing within three days of delivery quoting reference number on the parcel.  Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and it may be required that they be returned to us at our expense before replacement or refund. We regret that claims cannot be accepted if over three days from date of receipt.
In the event of us sending you a defective or wrong item, you must return the item within 30 days. Please note that personalised or perishable items can only be returned if faulty.

Your details and how they are used
We expect the personal information you provide to be true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and
That you are not impersonating any other person or entity; and
The products purchased on this site are for private and domestic use only and are not for re sale.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Website.

If you have given us permission to send you information about our products and services by telephone, e-mail or in writing, you agree that by doing so Sure To Surprise You are not in breach of the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999 or the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Code of Practice.
